I have read the Twitter help page and I believe I understand it. I am just wondering, is it exeptable to tweet "New video posted on @YouTube." or to post "Our new product is up for sale on @ebay."?

it doesnt work like that
the thing you type after the @ has to be a person you are friends with, not a website you are trying to link to

On every listing page on the far right, you will see the pins (email, Facebook, twitter and pinterest)
Just click on the twitter pin and add your price to the link $49 - make sure you add the $ sign. Assuming you have a twitter account - you item should post very easily.
