Okay so I was married on facebook but i just changed it to its complicated but i wanna know why it doesnt just say 'its complicated' because it now says 'in a complicated relationship' they both mean different things for me..so why does it say relationship to? is it the updated facebook?

That's just what it is, besides why bother with it's complicated just make your relationship status private for now until things are better.
