Does your company have a formal policy regarding the use of social media in the screening of applicants? - Tara K - 10-12-2012 10:18 PM

If so, what is your company's position on this?

Every business should have a social media policy to protect their company's reputation. As the internet is a huge place where information tends to hang around, you want to ensure that you have guidelines that your employees can uphold. The thing is, social media helps with your branding and you are under the watchful eyes of the 'world'. My advice would be to draw up some rules for personal and professional information that is shared about the company and the discretion that needs to be practiced as it can affect your brand.
