isn't is a bit compromising. I don't want people to know who my friends are. nor do I want to expose my friends to the world at large.

I don't think about it. It would be presumptuous for me to assume anyone out there cared, besides its a social network you should lighten up.
Its not like anyone gets hold of an important stuff, and only fools upload stuff that would compromise themselves, the very people it would seem who crave all the attention.

Change for Security Settings. Custom or Private should do it. ; )
