How do I change my group settings (photos) on facebook? - Max - 08-05-2013 11:46 PM
I organize my facebook friends into "groups." For example, some people are in a work group, some in a family group, classmates, etc. I want each group to have different picture settings - I don't want my work and classmates to see photos I was tagged in, but I want my family to see my photos.
This was much easier with facebook a year or so ago, but now facebook has become much too overwhelming for me to figure out.
Can anyone help???

you are confusing "groups" and "lists"
a group is like a set of people who regularly like to chat together, and everyone in the group can see who is in the group
a list is like a set of people which only you can see who is a member of, and lists are used only to determine who can see certain things in your profile, like pictures
