At first I thought it was just bc the friends trying to add me were minors and that's why they couldn't find me. But one of my non-minor friends tried to add me and says the add friend button isn't there but the send message button is there. I can't find it anywhere in my Facebook setting on how to turn back on the add friend button.
What do I need to do under my Facebook settings to make my add friend button come back up ?

click the button next to home -> click who can contact me -> you can see the "who can see my friend request" option
