Depends greatly on what phone you have but if you have downloaded the APP than go to where you can see the icon and press and hold on the icon after a few seconds it should change to the desktop and you can place it where you like.
All this is based of you have a android phone.
if you have an iPhone than you just have to download the facebook app from the store
