If you're looking for a girlfriend, should you ask your friends on Facebook for help? - Yahoo Man - 08-07-2013 12:58 PM

For example, in your status update:
"Looking for a date, anybody know someone?"

You might be surprised. It would all depend on how many of your Facebook friends are complete nitwits and on how many actually care about you and would help you out. My dad was introduced to my mom by a friend. It's done all the time. Your friends know you best and want you to be happy. Facebook friends, on the other hand, aren't often "real friends". If you're the kind of guy that likes thinking and doing outside the box, go for it. Girls like a guy who's not afraid to step out and do things his own way. (And if you happen to meet some girls who only want Mr. Do It By The Rules, they're looking for status and not substance.)
