What do you think personally? - ♥Amber♥ - 10-12-2012 11:59 PM

I am a psychology major and I am doing an assignment based upon people's first impressions of others. Being that social media is a big part of our society. I decided to use social media and how people think of others based on our portrayals of ourselves on social media sites. So judging by this woman's facebook, what is your impression of her. (Note: the people used in this have given me permission) and no this is not my profile, this is not a "am I pretty question" Please give me specific feedback nothing like "she's pretty" For instance, judging by her wall posts, pics ect what kind of person do you think of her as? What is your impression? Thoughts? or any other feedback that may be useful

I asked this last night but got like only 2 answers that were not very useful.

Please and thank you.

Respectfully, Amber

She seems incredibly... Pained. Almost as if she's handling too much.

Well, to me, it looks as if she is putting on a bit of an act. She posts "happy" photos and frequently talks about how fun/happy/great things are. It all seems a bit superficial though because no one is happy 24/7. It is almost like she is searching for some kind of approval and/or reassurance that she is a good mother/wife/friend. I don't know... that is just the impression I got.

She sounds very busy with kids and mentioned being a stay at home Mom... I know that must be hard and at times can be very lonely. (so I've heard) Her FB looks to be slightly attention/approval seeking and it is probably because she feels a bit insecure. (not to mention is a bit lonely/bored and wants support from adult friends/family)

If you wanted to stage a typical fb page in the life of a mixed (Latino/white) couple, then you did it! Everything seems fine in this stage of her life and she has plenty of support people/animals.
