using google chrome, everything else is fine its just when i open my messages my antivirus picks up a Trojan why?

The question is why hasn't your AV removed the Trojan?, you should be asking yourself that. And as an answer, you should update your AV and then run a full system scan. If it still doesn't remove it then you need to utilize a different AV because the one your using is crap. As a suggestion, use a cloud based AV scanner like hit-man pro (see sources below). I am sure that it will do better than your AV at removing the malware.
Choose your architecture from the list 32 bit or 64 bit. Goodluck!
You should always make sure your security is updated, if it is and you are still having problems, subscription fee's or not you need a new AV and Security service.

When you say " picks up a trojan" I`m guessing that what it actually says is that it has blocked a trojan, in which case yous AV is doing its job. As a point of interest, my AV has just done exactly the same. I think its a glitch on FB. If you pick your contact from the panel on the right which shows `online contacts` and message from there, it should not happen.
