I am wanting to update my profile picture. - The one I have been using is from as far back as 1990.
I really think that I look exactly the same (except for a few graying hairs, etc.)
What POSES should I take of myself in aim to begin updating my profile pic's? - The only "changes" that have happened in my life during the past 23 (oh - my goodness... has it been that long?) years is again a few hair color changes %my black hair is turning white!
%I am Santa Claus and I try to stay in fashion (trends.)

I wouldn't pose specifically to update your profile
If you do, go with something natural - for instance, if you are a business person, take a pic of yourself in a suit and use that
If you are in to games, have someone snap a shot of you watching the game in your gear
Ask friends/family if they have any current/recent pics of you and choose one of those that you like
