As a consumer, what do you think about cause marketing? How do you feel about it? - Jenna - 10-13-2012 12:29 AM

I am doing some market research about consumers' attitudes towards cause marketing, which is when a business creates a marketing campaign that raises funds for social or charitable causes. Some popular campaigns now raise money for breast cancer research and the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

One example of cause-marketing would be the partnership of Yoplait's "Save Lids to Save Lives" campaign in support of the Susan G. Komen for the Cure. The company packages specific products with a pink lid that consumers turn in, and in turn Yoplait donates 10 cents for each lid.
