It says that they control who can see posts on their timeline; does that include me? In that case I'd close my account.

It says they are in charge what you can do with their posts.
Also, if you're so easily offended by nonexistent issues, just close your account.

It depends. Have you been getting along well with him/her? If not, then maybe they are, especially if you know them to be active there.
