How to disable account protection in facebook? - virtualban - 08-12-2013 12:43 AM I have learned from friends that accessing facebook from a different computer and different IP in a different state (like cousin's computer on vacation abroad) can result in the account being locked and needing intervention in other ways to re-enable. I have myself come across face recognitions and such on a past vacation. I don't want such protection, but seems I can't find an easy guide to disable it. I don't want roaming fees and keeping mobile number abroad. The e-mail account for verification might be locked out too in a similar way if I am away from home. Is there any way to disable account protection? Maybe telling facebook that I am going on vacation and just disable it for the next month? - abraXus - 08-12-2013 12:51 AM if there is a setting for that, which i dont think there is, it would be on the security page here https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=security - jacky - 08-12-2013 01:03 AM must be use face recognitions |
