When has a facebook message been "seen" by the recipient? - shagski.arch - 08-12-2013 03:32 AM

If I click on the messages icon on the top bar, and look at the different new messages I have, but not actually opening each one to read it, will it be recorded as "seen xx:xx"

Also if I get a chat pop up with a new message from someone while on a computer, will it be recorded as seen even if I don't click in the chat type box?

Thanks

For the second question, the answer is yes. Not sure about the first.

No, it won't be recorded as seen on either occasion. For it to show up as seen, you have to go into your inbox and actually click on the message.

You Have to Actually Click on the Message In order for the Seen to Be Recorded it Shouldint Be Recorded If you Only Seen it From your inbox List

Chat Is the Same Thing Even if Someone Sends you a Chat Message the Seen as Wont Appear Until you Click on the Chat Message
