There is no way. You will not know if they add you onto their close friends' list.

you cannot prevent that, but you can add them to your restricted list which counters the close friends list

You can't. Why would you want to do that? I have an idea why....when you're on someone's "Close Friends" list, they automatically receive your status updates
What you should do is create an "Acquaintance" list of those particular friends [as you stated, 'some']. By doing that, you'll be able to exclude them from posts that you do not want them to see
Or, you can exclude folks, individually too.I hope this helps.
