For some odd I reason my friend said that I reported when I did and he said facebook told him

Facebook doesn't tell anyone anything, they don't even tell the person if you have rejected his friend request. Somebody you told about it has leaked to your friend who said that Facebook told him.

it depends on how you reported him - if you selected "send him a message asking him to delete" something... yes, of course he will know you reported him
but if you just chose the anonymous report option, he isnt notified about it - he's just guessing, probably because he knows you wouldnt like what he's posting
it's called a "bluff"
