If you report a page on facebook will they be able to know it was you? - ChibiGirl - 08-15-2013 12:46 PM

There's this page that is posting some really nasty crap and false things about some people who go to my school and live in my town. And I don't know all the people but it's totally not cool of them to do that. So if I report the page will they know it was me who did it?

You have options either to let them know or not.

No it is completely priviate and only visible to you

No, it is completely private/random. Facebook will just say that someone found this page inappropriate or they will be sent a warning.

they wont know it was you who reported it unless you want them to know it was you

but unless the posts break the rules facebook has set up, they wont do anything about it

you have nothing to lose by reporting it, but you will probably be wasting your time, honestly
