I created a facebook page about 3 years ago and it ended up getting 1.4 million likes. I have people constantly messaging me asking to buy it. I was wondering why there is so much demand for the page? And if I am interested in selling it, is it safe to sell using paypal?

Who cares why? If you want to sell it you'll get the money first, so yes its safe. Review Facebook's terms and conditions in case they will confiscate it if you post on Ebay, but you can certainly conduct your own auction via email between all the people that have asked to buy it.

I think they are trying to buy your page they are aware of something what you are not.. It's 1.4 million likes !! Means can use your page for advertisements and earn forever.. Get some advice from a online money making person. Through advertisements you can earn a lot. WARNING : Tight the security of your page and be aware of spams and scams or else it could be get hacked and you wont get anything and never can get back your page. FB is good in security but that's not a matter for hackers coz no matter how hard the security is Hackers gonna Hack. Some of my friends pages have got hacked and lost their pages. If you are going to sell it then do it quickly and with the help of some professional so you can avoid cons and if you gonna keep it and use it to make money then too get help of a professional and learn how to tighten the security of your page and how to use your page to money making.
