i blocked my mom because i didn't want her to see some stuff on my fb, if i add her again do i have to re-add her as family?

Yes, you need to add her again. because if you block anyone, then Facebook automatically unfriend them.

Yes you Will Have to Readd Her as a Family When you Block Someone They are Automatically Removed From your Family Section and your Friends List

Every connection has been removed once you blocked here, so yes you have to re-add her to your family.
