I see many girls with pics where everything is cropped, like half of their face, or whatever. I also noticed many of them make stupid faces a lot, or their legs or something else that is irrelevant, but rarely normal pics. Is is some kinda tricky way to hide insecurities?

They want to show enough so that internet voyeurs find there pictures attractive but at the same time, so people in the street or possible people they know won't recognize them. There smart.
