We are looking to increase our presence and strategy in the social networking world, such as Twitter, LinkedIn, and Facebook. I am trying to do some research as to how other companies use this. I’m interested in hearing how the daycare down the street uses these sites as well as how large companies with unlimited resources use these programs as a way to find the 2 ends of this new market. Any advice?

There are several ways to use social media websites that can achieve great results.
One thing we do on social media websites is create games and contests for our communities to participate in. Even something simple can attract a lot of attention, so long as it is interesting and fun. Some companies do giveaways over social media networks as another means of gaining attention. You are only limited by your creativity as to what you can accomplish using social media.
