Not sure what you mean but when you go on facebook on the top left there will be red numbers showing where you have new notifications. Hope I helped!

Your question seems to be chaos.. notifications in facebook are at top left corner that have recent updates of your friends..

On the topnleft side of your page it will show in red "1" notification etc. click on it and it show.
Also you can receive notifications through your email if you have checked to receive notifications.
