I am trying to expand my business through social marketing, and i am new to Twitter. So can you guys give
me any advice on how to increase my followers, and exposure.

"Use HashTags. If you havent already been using them start now. It gets your tweets more expore = more followers.
Follow other people. A great percentage of the time when you follow someone they will follow you back.
Advertise on other Social Sites. Use Youtube,Tumblr,Facebook, etc. Just get your name out there.
Last resort - Buy them. One site i use for purchasing likes,and followers is Socialmart.org. I have never had any problems with them and they offer refunds so if you don't mind buying give them a try, you wont be disappointed.

I am just a general girl and i currently have around 3,450 followers. That's not alot but it's a good start.
I usually gain followers through tweeting, especially using hash tags and '@' links to other people. The more tweets the more that can be viewed by possible followers.
If you have a blog/website/youtube/business cards/ you can easily add the link on to them to gain more followers who already know the business. These can then pass the message on to their followers like a snowball effect.
As i don't know what you business does this idea may not work, but i have saw businesses running competition's like "RT and i will pick a winner for this bracelet" when people RT (Retweet it) it will appear on their followers time line's and therefore will expose the business to more people.
There is also a site; http://www.wefollow.com which is a directory of people on twitter and you add your interests and what you do!
If you were needing followers fast you can "buy them" off various sites from google but i have never tried that and therefore cannot guarantee it would work!
