Facebook Upload Failed!? - Stephanie Coolsy - 08-19-2013 09:45 PM

Alright, I really need some help here! So earlier today, my friend came over and we made a music video on the app "video star". I wanted to upload it to my Facebook account after she left, but I ran into a problem... many actually. When I went to upload it, it just kept saying "loading..." then the little loading bar was filled in and it then said "upload failed." I tried refreshing and re uploading, and it STILL didn't work? I then synced my phone on the computer, saved the video to my computer and tried uploading it to facebook on my desktop. It got to 82% and said "Something went wrong, please try again later". But then, I just got a notification saying my video won't upload because of some copyright?! I'm so confused! I've uploaded video star videos before and this has never happened! It's so confusing, I just want to post the video. The Facebook app is up to date, and I have an iPhone 4S, if it helps. Plus, its not like the video is long... its only 2 minutes long so I don't understand why it won't go through. Thanks ahead of time, guys xoxo.
I'm using the facebook application, i've also tried to use just the facebook site from Safari and Google, but it failed as well.
I'm also connected to my home wifi.

Are you using the Facebook application? Try just using regular internet or connect to wifi

you made a music video

The music is the copyright issue. copyright is literally the right to copy. That is the right of the record label, not us

uploading videos with music owned by record labels online is a form of copying, which is illegal

Like YouTube, facebook has a database full of music, movies, tv shows, Assorted copyrighted entertainment supplied by the copyright owners

When a video is uploaded and processing, it is scanned for copyrighted material. if it's found to contain something in their database, it's deleted for violating copyrights
