If you have a your friend on his facebook you can also get him there or if you know his name or email id you can also search him on the facebook

if you know his name than just search until you find him or you can go to find friends in Facebook and fill the details you know about him and the results will come out and you will be able to see him.
you can always ask your friends if they know his Facebook or simplest of all have a small talk and ask if he has Facebook and get his Facebook name.

If you're looking for them just by their names then I hope you have time on your hands. Finding someone by their name takes a really long time, that's why it's best to go by email or just asking them to friends you. That's how I get my friends to find me.
