How does Twitter work? - largeglove485 - 10-13-2012 03:31 AM

I know all the technical sides to it such as all the RT, @ and following and blah blah that u can connect with people etc.

I use Facebook you see, and it has a home page where u can see all updates in recent activities that people have been upto all in the home page so that i DONT have to click on an account just to see their recent activity.

Coming to my question of what i mean by "How does Twitter work?". What I mean by this is like, Do you have to click on an account just to see one's most recent activities or is there some sort of other way in which merges all the recent activities.

The reason I ask this is that having a lot of people following you on Twitter is a major aspect of the site. Therefore wouldnt that be very hard to find people that you have followed on twitter if you have alot of followers as you would then have to go through the whole list of itty bitty pictures just to find an account to see their updates on their account? To me thats a very annoying way of following someone.

I am new to this twitter thing and have been with Facebook after Bebo died out in popularity.

Thanks for your answers/ help in advance! Big Grin

All you do is post a status message and that is it. You can also see the people you "follow"'s status messages. That's all there is.

Just try it out. You'll get used to it quick.
