I have a small problem which I need to clarify. When I sit on facebook, to keep myself secret out from friends, I stay offline. That means the green signal which is shown while online chat, should be off. But my friends say that my green signal is on although I'm off chat or in offline mode.
Why this happen?
How do I rectify this so that I could work freely on facebook without any sorts of disturbance, so that the green signal remains off while I use facebook at offline mode?
Please respond me as quickly as possible.

This might be happening because of a problem in your web browser. If you are using Google Chrome then you can fix this problem by following these steps.
Go to Top Right of your page,you will see three bar . Click on it.
Then Click Settings.
Then a page will appear. At bottom click on Show Advanced Settings.
Under Privacy Section, click on Clear Browsing Data.
Tick all the options which come. And Then click Clear Browsing Data.
Now , when you again login to your account, your problem should be fixed.
But if you are using another web browser, find on Internet on how to clear cookies, and have your problem fixed.
