I just made a Facebook on Friday this week, and in my NOTIFICATION, 54 of my friends confirm me as their friends. But it said I only have 40 friends? (Barely of my friends deleted their accounts or delete me from them) What is happening? Did FB only set 40 as my limit of friends? If yes, how can i change it?

It is possible that some people deleted you off their friends list. People do that so its not really that uncommon. No FB didnt limit your friends. This probably isnt what you want to hear but its the only logical explanation
