no. That's the whole point of making it private, so others can't see it. But if it's a private photo, you shouldn't be uploading it to facebook at all....

it depends on what album you put it into, and if one of your friends comments on it (it gets shared with their friends then too)

No, once you have set it to private or share with "only me" then no one else can see it.
