There are two ways to remove a virus. Either your anti virus or other security program should detect it, or you should be able to manually locate the suspicious file/ process. You can look in the task manager the list of currently running processes and see if you could locate a new name. Having your computer's HJT log (Hijackthis) checked can help to find out presence of any suspicious process

it's not a "virus" - it's an app you gave permission to by falling for that trick in the first place
