Question about Facebook? - Satadal - 08-21-2013 04:25 PM

Are there any means by which one can set his profile in such a way that no one can send friend request? If there are, please let me know the steps.

Make your profile picture visible only to friends and change the "who can send you friend request" to "friends of friends".

Hi,
Unfortunately there's no direct option available to hide the 'Add Friend' button. You can't stop incoming friend requests at all. But you can reduce incoming friend requests by making some changes at your privacy settings.

1. Click on Privacy shortcuts button (Beside "HOME")
2. Click "who can contact me?"
3. Then on "who can send me friend request?"
4. Choose "Friends of Friends"
Done!
You can confirm it by clicking the small icon with drop down beside the activity log in your timeline, then click "view as"...

Hope this helps! c:
