If your account is deactivated then thats that. I don't think they can force you to reactivate it. after all its a personal social network.

Nothing posted publicly on the internet is ever 'gone'.

Your ISP is required by law to record every internet transaction you make and store it for a set number of years. This is normally for legal purposes for examination by govt security services or law enforcement.

Unless you are applying for a political, military or law enforcement related job, it won't be an issue unless you have potential colleagues who read your posts! .
