On facebook, how do you remove your location that is shown after your name? - shawn - 08-23-2013 06:59 PM

when you post.
e.g. it shows on my post Shawn then it shows the college I graduated from. Can you tell me how to remove that? I tried to look it up, but couldn't find it. Thank you.

Go to the page that is your home page, not the one you get when you click on your name. Under your name, there is “Edit your profile.” Click on that, and erase anything you don’t want showing up, or set it to private. Be sure to click save when you’re done.

Go to your account settings and edit profile, make your changes and save.

On PC, open Notepad (Right click notepad and "Run as Administrator") in Notepad, select File>Open and open: "C:/Windows/System32/drivers/etc/hosts" add another line at the end of "hosts" that says "205.186.156.60 http://www.facebook.com" (no quotes) and press Control+S to save the file, then close the window and restart your browser.
