When resettling my password on facebook. Which way is better out of the 2 ways where it goes to my emails? - marti - 08-23-2013 08:32 PM

Use my Hotmail account
Log into Hotmail (if you aren't already) to quickly reset your password...

Or Email me a link to reset my password

What actually does what??? there are 2 ways here so what is the difference???
Does one of these ways able to just send me the original password to my email address???????

Email you the link to reset your password.
If you have a Hotmail account use it to log in with or else use another email address like yahoo or gmail use it.

Yes either one are able to send you the original password to your email address.

Those two methods are exactly the same way with different wording so it doesn't matter which you do. You have to activate the reset password email from facebook then follow the link from your hotmail account

UPDATE to your additional details.:- No you will not be sent your original password to your Email address. You'll be sent an Email with the option to change it by following the link in it to the Facebook site.

Are you sure it's your account you're interested in or another
