of course if i add people that could have access to that. but how can i stop other people who are not my friends to not see my picture any closer after they click on my profile pic. Thanks

Open that profile picture you don't want to click others, you would see a audience selector tool (says public or friends) , click on that button and select only me. then only you can see the enlarge size of profile picture, others cant.
