I have just started one facebook fanpage http://www.facebook.com/vegetarianrecipeideas
I wanted to know how to get large number of likes for my fanpage free as I am short of funds. Please help me in this.

It takes some extra time without advertising, first step you need to analyze your audience and you have to act according to that. There are few simple ideas to get more likes in low budget
1.Share some good posts (Receipes) regularly.
2.Ask questions using polls and Make your fans involved in comments..
3.Ask some to top food pages to share a post/photo in their page.
4.Get a website and embedding likebox could earn likes for your page outside of facebook.
Last but not least if you have ideas about viral marketing you can use it to earn likes
