I am a 16.5 years old girl. I really want a Facebook account. All my friends, cousins and even people younger than me have one. I just feel so jealous when they friends are talking about profile pics and stuff in school. Every single person in my class except me has an account. BUT MY DAD WONT LET ME. I just do not know why. I dont want to make one without his consent or secretly and I who asked him many times SAYS NO! What should I do?

you just try to convince your dad ,,tell him you will improve your academic activities and social as well... and really try to do so,, hope you will get permitted.. all the best..

He obviously has the wrong negative ideas about facebook. ignorance is most of the time hard to fight but if you educate him he might happen to change his mind.
