Hi all. I've noticed that the same group of people generally show up in the 8 boxes under "Friends" in my timeline. I just want to know why do certain people show up there? My friend tells me that they visit my profile most often, is this true? Thanks for any replies.

no, it's not true, it has nothing to do with who is viewing your profile, your friends are just believing widespread false rumors
facebook tries to figure out who you will want to interact with in the future based on many factors, like things you have in common and your past interactions - that's all it is

No it is not true, the reason people show up is because they're the most people you interact with the most.
