Let us say that some people might want to extract information about others in a newly adopted way through social media. Could you find out who views your profile on facebook? I heard of some apps that allow that. Are they for real?

There is no way of knowing who views anyone's profile on facebook. Any apps that claim there is a way are all scams, fakes and virus's. Do not believe these apps or click on any links associated with them.

no, any website or app that claims it's possible is either feeding you false information, tricking you, or trying to make you take a survey so they can make money collecting your personal information so they can hack your profile

By the Facebook option you can not views your profile on Facebook. You ca use the apps but i am not sure it shows real or fake just for fun.
