Yeah it will just say it was sent by 'Facebook user ' instead of your name

it's not a weird question, it gets asked at least once a day
once you send a private message, there is no way to unsend it - the person will get it no matter what, assuming you are on their friends list

Yes they will still receive the message but it will say from facebook user not you.
