Fackbook page related.? - Jake - 08-27-2013 03:20 AM

THE STORY SO FAR:

I recently created a page on Facebook, dedicated to the teachers in my school and all the stuff they say. In three days it had over 350 likes and the school found out in no time about the page. Now, all the quotes posted on the page were not nasty, in any way, and every quote that was posted was submitted by a student, either past or present, and I simply just shared these quotes as I was the only admin. Now, the school are trying to find out who set up this page (No one knows I was the admin) and I was just wondering, if the staff found out it was me, or THINK it was me, would they have enough evidence to prove it was me, or even be able to punish me for that matter? There is a lot of speculation going around in the school as to who set it up and everyone thinks it was someone else, not me. I know I should own up but that wont be happening. My point is: Do the school have the power to punish someone over this, even though it was outside school grounds and everyone is entitled to freedom of speech etc. ?

Sorry for long question.

May be the school is looking to reward the individual who setup the page for them. You may want to clean up the school page of stuff you think look awful or out right bad or illegal. That makes you clean. Authorities know who setup pages, who posted on that pages, who supported them etc. Now if I want to say something to someone which that person does not like but I still want to say. So it be. I am not scared?
