Social networking is the future and the top marketers KNOW it is a POWERFUL marketing weapon. So if you are not using Social Networking sites in your marketing campaign then you are not going to get very far

Hello:
In the simplest of terms, people love social networking sites because of (but not limited to) the following reasons:
1) It's a good way to communicate with the most people with economy of effort
2) It's a good way to share ideas & other content including photos, ideas, causes
3) It's a good way to kill time through playing games, reading others' content, etc...
4) In the case of Facebook, it's a great method to search for and find long-lost friends, relatives, etc.
Although some would argue, and with some good reason, that it makes the world "less social" (especially if social networking sites are the ONLY method some people use to socialize) it is just another tool that "virtually shrinks" the world (getting back to reason #1).
Despite what all the troglodytes and detractors say--social networking sites are here to stay (in one form or another).
Just my $.02 (two cents)....
