And if you send someone a message, will they be able to see where you sent it from? I would also like to know if my friends can see when and where my last login on facebook was? Many questions now, but I'm new on facebook and one of my 'friends' seems to know a little too much about my whereabouts. Thanks for helping!!

If you disable chat option then nobody see you are logged in on facebook. Otherwise every friends can see that you are logged in facebook.

No, they can't. Although some people have been having problems with online/off line issues with facebook. When their chat is off and they are online, people know they are online, maybe a glitch by facebook. Also go to your privacy settings and check the information on there for more help.
