my class has a project to organize an event in my university but the theme of the event should be of social media. what should be included in such an event? i dont know where to start?

Social media includes web- and mobile-based technologies which are used to turn communication into interactive dialogue among organizations, communities, and individuals. So one event about this would be e.g. the launching of Iphone 5 on September 12, 2012.
