I am wanting to delete my Facebook, I hardly ever use it because I think its lame and have lost interest. My only concern is all of the music artist i am "friends" "subscribed" too, Is there a way I can keep track of them as far as new music coming out or finding out about shows theyll be having in my area? they're mainly dj's. I don't want Facebook but don't want to miss anything. any help would be great. Thank you

You'll have to individually verify that they have some alternate account to follow, such as Twitter or a blog.
I'm not sure that you can experience Facebook without an account.

I completely agree with you that facebook is pointless and boring. Sure it's about connecting with people around you but to be honest it's not. It's always the same thing. Some girl with a new profile picture trying to get get lots of likes. People misunderstand the meaning of facebook. If you like a certain artist they always have a website where they post thier concerts and new music! If you google it you will probably be able to find it! And when you do just book mark the page! Then you can check it any time

also good for you that you are de-activating it since there is not deleting it! I should mention when I de-activated mine, not only did I meet more people but I actually talked to them and was more comfortable being with them.
