Why does facebook allow people to tag photos of you without permission? - BoB Sir Dylan - 08-28-2013 11:05 PM

So yesterday I was at a house party, pretty damn drunk, and of course people are taken photos of me every two seconds without me even realizing, with the flash on. I've been out all day today and only just back, checked facebook, and damn. There's photos's of me all over my wall and all over facebook, and I look dreadful! I would never allow anyone to put any of them up, ever, but facebook just allow's you to put it up without permision?

Surely facebook should give the people the option to be untagged BEFORE it is published, so you don't have to untag yourself, and let everyone clearly know how you felt about the photo when they see it dissapear from your timeline. Pathetic!

I just untagged myself from like 5 photos were I look horrible, but of course, they've been up all day and people have probably already seen them!! wtf!!! I am so dissapointed with the way facebook works, alot of it is just shit!

I know how you feel, same thing happened to me once, never again.
I went to my account/privacy settings and clicked on "who can tag me" I clicked no-one, so no one can tag me in a pic. Sometimes facebook will ask "so and so" wants to tag you in a pcture, do you allow this? I always clicked no. Hope this helps you.

you can easily just set your tagging preferences up so that all tags have to be approved first... or did you miss that option?
