Can someone hack your Facebook page when it's deactivated without knowing your password? - Izzy - 08-29-2013 05:54 AM

I had someone threatening to hack my Facebook account, so I deactivated it. After I deactivated it he told me he still could hack into it. I know he knows how to hack and such so I'm a bit worried he'll be able to get into my account somehow. He doesn't know my password, although he knows my account URL (example: coreytatarek7) and my Facebook name. I can't permanately delete my account because I couldn't remember my current password. I'm honestly kind of screwed on this one. Please let me know what the possibilities are. Thanks.

He's lyin', that's utterly impossible. If you deactivate your account it essentially does not exist anymore to anyone else unless he knew the e-mail you used and your password which he doesn't. PS you should tell someone about this threatening & harassment, it's not cool!

first of all, he's not going to be able to hack your account, he is making empty threats

and deactivating your account wouldnt prevent him from doing it even if he could do it, because all you have to do to reactivate it is log in like normal
