I want to change my profile picture but I have certain people on my friends list that I don't want them to see my new profile picture, what do I do to hide it from these friends so they don't see my new profile pic while other friends can?

well you wont be able to hide the thumbnail on your timeline of the picture, that's impossible
but you can set it so the full version where the comments are con only be seen by certain people by using the audience selector
