By default, yes. Familiarize yourself with the settings menu. You can change what sounds are created for different events.

If you haven't altered the settings since purchase then yes, but in setting you can edit this and make it custom to your liking.

Yes, it makes the same noise, best thing to do is go to your settings menu and change the different sounds to suit your messages and notifications.
